Due to the havoc wrought by Hurricane Earl, the Love City Triathlon and Aquathon, originally scheduled for this Sunday, has been postponed.
While conditions on St. John are improving, the road and waters upon which the races are conducted are still being cleaned, cleared and repaired, according to a release from the organizers.
Concerned for participants’ safety and not overburdening volunteers in Earl’s aftermath, organizers made the call to postpone the event.
Both events have now been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 26.
