Brothers Arrested, Charged with Burglary

St. Croix police have arrested brothers Shawn Skepple, 27, and Akeem Prescott, 21, and charged them with first-degree burglary, grand larceny, third-degree assault and carrying or using a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime of violence.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau said the pair are brothers and were arrested in connection with the Aug. 17 burglary of an Estate Rattan residence.
Skepple lives in Estate Little Princess, and Prescott lives in Estate Mt. Pellier. Both suspects were held on a $100,000 bail and remanded to the custody of the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
