St. Croix: On Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at about 12:45 a.m., a shooting took place in the area of Elena Christian Jr. High School in La Grande Princess, taking the life of 24-year-old Marlin Roberts of Estate La Vallee. Retaliation may have been the motive. Please tell us what you know so VIPD can identify the person(s) responsible for his death. The minimum cash reward for an arrest is $1,500.
St. John: On April 26 at Gifft Hill School, the main office, business office, and supply room were broken into. The suspect(s) entered and left from the eastern door. A small safe and a flat screen Toshiba Regza TV were stolen. The minimum cash reward for the arrest of a burglar is $714.
St. Thomas: On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 18, burglars stole several items from a residence in Estate Bakeroo on the main road near Flag Hill, including a brown safe that was anchored in concrete. The stolen items include a Black 17” HP Pavilion laptop; a silver Olympus digital camera; a gold Krugerrand coin; a silver pocket watch with chain; a man’s gold wedding band with silver mountain range design; two men’s watches: Tag Heuer and Tissot, with white faces and steel bracelets; and a car GPS system.
