The Caribbean Writer’s Creative Luncheon Series Continues

Opal Palmer Adisa, Ph.D., editor of the University of the Virgin Islands’ The Caribbean Writer, invites students, faculty and staff, as well as the general public, to a "Creative Luncheon Series" during the fall semester. The luncheons are slated for noon to 1 pm. on Thursdays, Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 9. They will take place in Room 102 of the North West Wing on UVI’s St. Croix campus.
Participants are asked to bring lunch, and a poem or a short piece of prose to share. Dr. Adisa will begin the sessions with a poem and then lead a short writing activity. Participants can read something they have written or share a favorite piece by a published writer.
For details, call 692-4122 or send e-mail to oadisa@uvi.edu.
