A woman died Saturday of natural causes onboard a boat anchored in Cruz Bay Harbor, St. John Rescue Chief Alfredo Alejo said Monday. St. John Rescue was called around 5:30 p.m., he said.
He said the woman, who was a St. John resident, was around 55 and was known to have medical issues.
According to Alejo, the St. John Rescue boat transported the woman from the boat to the V.I. National Park dock at the Creek in Cruz Bay. He said the Police Department then took over.
Authorities did not have the woman’s full name.
