Two Arrested in Castle Burke Armed Robbery

Police on St. Croix arrested Michael Ford, 21, and Kimbel President, 48, Friday and charged them with first-degree robbery and weapons violations, in connection with an April 18 Castle Burke armed robbery, according to the V.I. Police Department.

The arrest warrant stated one or both were armed when they approached two victims and robbed them of a gold chain, gold earrings, two cell phones and $20 in cash, the VIPD said in a statement.

The suspects were arrested around 12:45 p.m. Thursday. Bail for Ford and President was set at at $75,000 each and they were remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
