Christiansted National Historic Site located on St. Croix will be closing its parking lot at 3:30 p.m. every day of the week, beginning Sunday, March 10, which will continue until further notice.
The parking lot will continue to open at 8:30 a.m., daily.
The early closure of the parking facility next to Ft. Christiansvaern is due to federal government funding reductions that are effecting the National Park Service with a 5 percent across the board budget cut.
