The next event on the V.I.Pace Runners calendar is the 30th Annual Women’s Race at 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, in Frederiksted. For this year only, males will be permitted to run. There will be a special category for the top partner team; the school with the most participants will receive a cash prize, as will the coach. The run honors Mary Mingus, a founder of the Women’s Coalition of St. Croix and co-founder for the race with Wallace Williams, who is also the race director.
