Lt. Gov. Francis Extends Condolences on Passing of Ambassador Terence Todman

Dear Source:
Lt. Gov. Gregory R. Francis today offered his deepest sympathies to the family of Ambassador Terence A. Todman upon learning of his passing.
“I was honored to get to know Ambassador Todman when I served as the Director of Veterans Affairs. His military service and experiences made him particularly sensitive to the plight of the territory’s veterans. Many of our conversations involved how we could better serve those in need. I appreciated his worldview, gained over 40 years as a U.S. diplomat, that Ambassador Todman shared in our discussions and the many ways that he sought to improve opportunities for all Virgin Islanders,” Lt. Gov. Francis said.
“As we reflect on his life, I hope that many are inspired by his service to this territory and our nation and challenge themselves to find ways to be of greater service to our community,” Francis stated. “On behalf of my family and the staff at the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, I extend sincere condolences to Mrs. Doris Todman, his children, and all those who mourn the passing of this great gentleman.”
