Kendall T. Petersen Dies in Puerto Rico

Kendall T. Petersen Kendall T. Petersen, also known as "Seigo," of Queen Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix, died on Nov. 16 in Caguas, P.R. He was 52 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Petersen and son, Kendall T. Petersen Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Clarissa Messer Petersen; companions: Yvette Johnson and Sharon Cummings; daughters: Clarissa E., Indika, Kanika, Kendra, Kenyshwa, Kesi and Mahalia Petersen; sons: Amenhotep, Frank, Kidall, Menelik, Mikael and Nakeem Petersen; grandchildren: Anara and Shanara Encarnacion, Ananka Milligan, Jahzir, Kabalion, Kendall T. III, Kennatra, Heru’Akenra, Kidalia, Kixyra and Melkezedec Petersen, Makaya, Maya and Mikah Taylor; sisters: Wanda Morris, Shermaine Nielsen, Ava, Verdel and Violet Petersen, Valerie Petersen Sackey (Fla.), Denise Petersen-Stout (N.Y.), Darice Plaskett, Norine Spicer (Fla.) and Judith Molloy; nieces: Kimberly Fredericks, Charissa Sackey Jones, Stacy Wiggins Malone, Monique Moorehead, Masonya Petersen, Amira Plaskett, Tiffany Sackey, Clarissa S., Vonda Smith, Jada Spicer, Venne Williams and Aisha Woods; nephews: Leopold Gittens, Dean Plaskett, Lionel Sackey Jr., Justin Stout, Kevin Spicer and Kibwe Tom; and great nieces: Marley Gray, Makyla and Malaysia Jones, Miniya Malone and Larissa Serrano.
He is also survived by great nephews: Malachi Benjamin, Tobias Brown Jr., Cory and Camerin Fredericks, Akeem Jones, Bilal McFarlane, Michael Malone, Marco Rodrigues Jr., Lionel Sackey III and Takari Vandiver; aunts: Evelyn Messer-James and Marion Petersen-Ford; daughter-in-law, Jenna McIntosh Petersen; brothers-in-law: Meredith Nielsen and Austin Stout; godparent, Jane Naughton Henry; and special friends: Babatunde Belardo, Dawn “Sunshine” Brodhurst, Adelbert Bryan, Analyn M. Creque, Charles Farrell, Buddy Henneman and family, Dean Johnson, Mario Moorhead, Gregory Marcus, Dean Nurse Sr., Richard Nicks, RasNakingyi F.M. A public viewing will be held from 8:45-11 a.m. A family viewing will take place from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a funeral service at noon on Monday, Dec. 1, at the Frederiksted Fish Market. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
