Incoming Gov. Kenneth Mapp will announce key cabinet positions at a news conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to transition staff.
Asked to confirm rumored reports about specific positions, Mapp communications director Kim Jones said "nothing has been confirmed yet."
"I wish I could answer you. I don’t have the answers yet, I am waiting for them myself," Jones said in a phone call. "I have not received any confirmed appointments as of yet," she said.
A news release late Sunday said Mapp’s news conference will be held at the WTJX -TV studio in Estate Richmond on St. Croix.
Jones said she is herself awaiting information, to begin preparing information for the public.
