Burglars Strike in Estate Colquohoun

Burglars hit a home in Estate Colquohoun, apparently shooting up the front door, the V.I. Police Department reported Thursday.

According to VIPD public information officer Melody Rames, witnesses told police they heard several gunshots being fired and police found the front entrance to the residence damaged by gunfire.

But no one inside the home told police they saw any suspects. None of the residents were injured.

Other witnesses told police they saw several men inside a green Mitsubishi Lancer outside the building, but did not get the license number.

Police continue to investigate the case.
