Both units from Romeo Company, Coral Bay, fought a structure fire in the Bordeaux Mountain area Thursday morning, the V.I. Fire Services reported.
Romeo Company received the report of the fire at 7:04 a.m. Arriving at the scene, firefighters found a trailer engulfed in flames. Firefighters from Romeo and Zulu Company, which was also ordered to the scene, proceeded to extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters then conducted salvage and overhaul operations. Units from Zulu Company were ordered to return to their station. Units and crew returned to Romeo Company at 8:15 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Fire Services reported.
