Amy L. Garrett passed away peacefully Dec. 18 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America after a fierce battle with cancer. Amy was an educator for the Roselle Public Schools in New Jersey. She was cherished by those who knew her and will be greatly missed. She was 56 years old.
Amy is survived by her siblings: Bruce Garrett, Mark Garrett, Paulita Garrett Abou-Aly, Dawn Garrett and Christine Garrett Davis; brother-in-law, Lueben L. Davis; her dear nieces, nephews, cousins and her life partner, Greg Burton.
Amy will be entombed with her mother, Lillian V. Smith Garrett, a native of St. John.
Her service will be at the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cruz Bay, St. John on Jan. 16. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., immediately followed by the service.
Arrangements are under the care of Hurley Funeral Home and Cremation Center of St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and Tortola.
