Supervisor Caroline F. Fawkes has announced that the Casting of Lots for the positioning of names of the candidates for the Special Election ballot (Legislature of the Virgin Islands) will take place at 5:30 p.m., Friday, March 10, at the Election System, 9200 Lockhart Gardens (above Banco Popular) on St. Thomas.
Candidates should be present to pick their lot. If a candidate cannot appear, he or she can send a representative with a notarized letter attesting the person has permission to pick the candidate’s lot. If the candidate or the representative is not present, the Supervisor of Elections will draw the lot for the candidate.
