The Government Employees’ Retirement System (GERS) invites retired members to participate in a post-retirement workshop called “The Joys and Challenges of Retirement.” It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, in the training room on the second floor of the GERS Complex, Kronprindsens Gade, St. Thomas.
In addition to getting helpful tips on how to save on energy costs, retirees will receive updates on Social Security, Medicare and the GERS. The special topic will be “For the Health of It.”
