USVI Soccer Association Offers CONCACAF ‘D’ License Course

In a continued effort to improve the level of professionalism at all levels of soccer in the Virgin Islands and to improve the quality and knowledge of coaches, the USVI Soccer Association will host a Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) “D” License Coaching Course May 18-21. The course hours on weekdays will be 4-9 p.m. and on weekends, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This “D” level certification course is an extension to the U.S. Soccer Federation “E” License Course that was held in August 2014 and the CONCACAF “D” License course that took place in February 2017.

This course is open to all clubs, physical education teachers and soccer enthusiasts in the St. Thomas region. Space is limited, so please register early.

The classroom sessions will be held at the University of the Virgin Islands St. Thomas Campus with practical sessions being held at the soccer field. Course instructors will be Anton Corneal from Trinidad and Tobago and Vin Blaine from Jamaica.
