Pistarckle Theater’s MusicFest for KidZ is a first-time event that will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, June 25, in the courtyard at Tillett Gardens, 4126 Anna’s Retreat. The fun, family-friendly event will feature a dozen popular island musicians playing original compositions, including performances by Jake Bradley, Artie Cornett, D!Angelo, Barefoot Davis, Andy Easton, Rob Eberhart, Christopher Kollins (KRSKO), Eddie Kusar, Eric Malmstrom, Michelle Perry-May, Danny Silber and St. Groovus.
G-Clef Music Academy will provide some cameo performances by young musicians. In addition, there will opportunities to win great raffle prizes. A cash bar and refreshments will be available. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside the theater.
Angelo Ortiz, himself an actor with a past Pistarckle play, is leading the fundraising event. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the Summer Camps Scholarship Program. Pistarckle Theater is a non-profit organization. Adult tickets are $20, which includes entry to the event and either one drink or a $5 raffle ticket; children’s tickets are $10.
