Town Hall to Focus on Veterans Issues July 13

The VA Caribbean Healthcare System and the Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs will host a Veterans Town Hall Meeting from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 13, at the Department of Education Curriculum Center in Estate Tutu, St. Thomas.

The purpose of the town hall is to provide the opportunity to listen to feedback from veterans and family members regarding services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The venue also serves as a forum for the VA to provide information about the latest on health care services, choice programs, compensation and pension, and memorial benefits, among other topics, according to the V.I. Office of Veterans Affairs.

Officials from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Administration out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, will be in attendance to provide information and answer any questions that veterans may have.

If there are any further questions, call the office at 774-VETS (8387) on St. Thomas-St. John.
