V.I. Bureau of Internal Revenue to Change Web Site Address on June 24

Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue

The Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) informs all taxpayers that its Web site address will change as of Monday, July 24.  Effective that day at midnight taxpayers can access the BIR’s tax information at http://bir.vi.gov. Excise taxpayers who file their tax returns online should use the new excise Web site address at https://excise.bir.vi.gov

Taxpayers who use the bureau’s old address (http://www.vibir.gov) shall be re-directed to the new one.  There should be no interruption in the services people receive at the Web site.  Any questions concerning the new Web site addresses should be directed to Jonathan P. Tucker Jr., deputy director of technology and processing, at 715-1040, ext. 2251.
