Documentary About V.I. Organizations Is Released Online

My Brothers Workshop

Chris Bramley has finished his first feature-length documentary film, “A Place to Be Happy,” which is now available online for free. It took him three years to make and was a true labor of love. With the help of producers Monyka Johnigan and Katie Zaytoun, the film has had four successful screenings in the Virgin Islands. Bramley had planned to get the movie on iTunes, but in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma (and how it affected the Virgin Islands), he decided to make the documentary available to everyone.

For those who enjoy the film, there is a link to donate to My Brothers Workshop (MBW), one of the organizations represented in the documentary. MBW is mobilized now on the ground on St. Thomas; it will be instrumental in rebuilding the island.

The organization will provide the fundamental support needed now, and it will support the other organizations represented in the film. The coming weeks and months will be a trying time in the Virgin Islands, and the public’s support is greatly appreciated.
