V.I. Board of Nurse Licensure Extends Licenses for Present RNs and APRNs

In light of the extreme hardship that hurricanes Irma and Maria have caused, the V.I. Board of Nurse Licensure is implementing the following policy, effect immediately.

Licenses for registered nurses (RNs) and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) that expire Dec. 31, 2017, will now expire March 30, 2018. This means that RNs and APRNs who hold valid licenses to practice in the territory may continue to work in their present capacity, but they must submit renewal documents for processing with the following fees payable by money order only: RN renewal is $125 and APRN renewal is $150.

On St. Croix, completed renewal packets may be mailed to:

Completed renewal packets may be hand delivered during non-curfew business hours to Ms. Richardson-Peter at Charles Harwood Complex, Room 3047. (718-1311, ext. 3647)
