Rafael O. Wheatley Skills Center has announced that the orientation for new/returning day and evening students will begin at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 26, at the school. The deadline to register has been extended to March 2.
Programs offered in both the day and evening are Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) and Cosmetology. Programs offered only in the day are Medical Administrative Assistant/Billing and Coding; Phlebotomy; Hair Braiding; Nail Technician; Carpentry; and Culinary Arts. The evening only programs are Computer Applications; and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
Interested applicants are asked to visit the school to apply. They must provide a copy of their high school diploma/GED, immunization card, health insurance if applicable and a valid ID.
The deadline to register has been extended to March 2. Classes will begin on March 5.
