In another sign of recovery on St. Thomas, repairs and renovations at Walgreens are nearly complete, and the store will likely reopen before the end of March and possibly as soon as two weeks from now, according to several sources in a position to know.
On Wednesday, workers could be seen putting up and stocking shelves, finishing painting and completing the final punch lists of odds and ends necessary for reopening. Some of the shelves are already stocked.
The work would have been completed a little earlier but some supplies were delayed in shipping due to the recent unusual heavy wave event. (See Related Link below)
