Government Network Outage Issues on St. Croix Are Resolved

The system-wide network outage that affected all Government of the Virgin Islands (GVI) offices on St. Croix has been resolved. All connectivity issues have been restored, including email, telephone communication and online accessibility.

The outage occurred Monday morning when one of the fiber-optic lines owned by the V.I. Next Generation Network (viNGN) was cut, affecting the GVI network across the territory. Network connectivity was restored in the St. Thomas-St. John District late Monday morning.
