Summary: Beginning Jan. 25, Garden Street will be closed to north and southbound traffic between Main Street and Back Street. This closure will allow the contractor, Island Roads, to install the remaining ACO drainage system, base slab, Eurocobble pavers, new traffic signals and bollards. Southbound traffic from Garden Street and Bunker Hill to Main Street will be closed at Back Street. Please note the following detours:
To access Garden Street, continue West on Main Street, turn right onto Nye Gade, turn right onto Back Street and turn left at the traffic signal at Back Street and Garden Street.
To access Main Street, turn right on to Crystal Gade, turn left onto Raadets Gade and continue to Main Street.
The estimated project cost is $15,322,553.11.
