DLCA Resumes Normal Operating Hours

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) Commissioner, Richard T. Evangelista, Esq., informs the public that the department has resumed its regular operating hours from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

DLCA also continues its commitment to the safety and protection of its customers in preventing the spread of COVID-19. When visiting DLCA lobbies, it is encouraged to follow the Virgin Islands Department of Health’s recommended safety procedures of handwashing, social distancing, and wearing masks in large crowds, especially when in enclosed environments.

To reduce wait time, DLCA highly encourages utilizing our online website at www.dlca.vi.gov for business license renewals or applying for a new business license and filing a consumer complaint.

In addition, DLCA licensing staff no longer has access to government-issued cell phones. If any questions, concerns, or issues arise, kindly contact them at 340.713.3522 on St. Croix; 340.714.3522 on St. Thomas, or St. John at 340.693.8036. If difficulties reaching any DLCA staff through the main lines occur, contact the Office of the Commissioner at 340-713-6900 or 340.725.5129 via mobile or at consumerawareness@dlca.vi.gov.
