Clothilda Lolita Pryce Dies at 83

Clothilda Lolita Pryce

Clothilda Lolita Pryce, also known as “LO” and “Lolita,” of Little Princesse, transitioned into eternal peace on April 14 at her home, peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. She was 83 years old.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Hazelwood-Southwell; father, Fritz Jacobs; husband, Daniel Pryce Sr.; sons: Wayne Jacobs Rios and Alvin Pryce; sister, Lillian Maria Rodgers-Sheriff; stepchildren: Hildred, Jean and Norris Pryce; and godchild, Euclyn “Pede” Prentice Jr.

She is survived by her daughters: Sanida and Cyd Pryce, and Frances Pryce-Ferdinand; sons: Alfredo Boyles, Alfred Byron, Malcolm and Daniel Pryce Jr.; stepchildren: Rosemarie Pryce-Washington (Miss,),Hildred Otto, Dorothy, Irma, Kenworth and Foster Pryce (ANT), Rhoney Pryce (CAN) and Winston Pryce (Miss.); sisters: Maria Hilaire and Adora Flemmings-Roberts; brothers: Daniel Dailey and William Archer; grandchildren: Sean, Corriette, Almonese, Sherwin and Alfredo Boyles Jr., Donaldo and Aliyah Byron, Naqueeba Wynter, Talief Pryce, Jahmikah Santana, Edgardo Pryce, Jahmillah Dullamsingh, Ralph Pryce, Lloyd Ferdinand Jr., Chevorn Phillip, Keveron, Garicee, Bianca and Trisha Torres, Nefa Pryce, Dominique and Desiree Boyd, Tahirah Smith, A’Zarra Pryce, Zyemah Major, and Jaheem, Jah-Reema and Jah-Novia Pryce; great-grandchildren: Nashiaya, Cori, Olivia and Arielle Boyles, J’Lene Martinez, Antenasia and Anthony Marrero, Zahir Garcia, Jamillah Armstrong, Re’Nylah Ferdinand, Jah’Sani, Rah’Sani, Keleb and Ralph Pryce Jr., John Crump Jr., Ti’Chae and Timothy Granderson Jr., Destiny Lawson, Anyah and Kylee Nicholson, Q’Uran Ross, Devonte Samuel, Aswad Petersen Jr., Malaki Henry, Seleena & Emily Willocks, Noah Joseph, Brianna Torres, Jeremiah Kentish, Ray and Ramand Tuetin, Jareem and Charteziah Charles, Jayceon Armstrong, Jace Pickering, Alahna Wynter, Jada Marin, Saniya, Haylie, Janiyah, Natalia and Talief Pryce Jr., Jahkim, King, Promise, Romeo, Serenity, Jayda, Mystic, Mackenzie, Tayjah and Sage Byron, Kyle and Kaisyn McKenzie, Tyler Smith, Kyro, and Skylar and Imani Pryce; nieces: Ethanie Didier, Patricia Liburd, Lorrie Chlecher, Maxine Sheriff, Riavelette Gerard, Colleen and Dorette Roberts, Beverly, Valerie and Renee Russell, Lucia Russel-Queeley, Thamala Serrano, Jamila Gaspard-Williams, Takiyah Gaspard-Santos, Denise Albert, Doris Sutton, Denise, Diane, Donna and Pearlene Archer; nephews: Anthony, Kurt and Bernard Sheriff, Claude, Anthony and DeRay Roberts, Daniel Dailey Jr., Edwin Russell, Albert Gaspard Jr., Steve, Shawn, Shamar and William Archer Jr.,; sisters-in-law: Juanita Gomez and Maria Dailey; family: James Family, Messer Family, Macedon Family, Prince Family, Jacobs Family, Miller Family, Milligan Family, Horsford Family, Bryan Family, Christian Family, Bates Family, McBean Family, Springer Family, Hector Family, Seals Family, Wayne Martin (ANT), Gloria Pryce, Julia, Jasmine Joyanne and Collin Hodge, Colette Marsh, Kai Jackson, Fanny Andrews-Clarke, George Otto, Ricky Caleb, Josephine Hector, Roy Clarke, Jahshanda Samuel, Tish Macedor, Erma Joseph, Bradley Christian, Analda George, Yvette Thornhill, Plaskett Family, Michael Queeley, and other family too numerous to mention; godchildren: Lionel Somerall Jr. and Kaboo George; special friends; Gilbert Hendricks, Beaulah Bruce, Pedro and Carmen Castillo, Angela Warden, Peggy Nestor, Malvine James, Cheryl McIntosh, Marcelino “Papito” Garcia, Theresa and J’Ada Thomas, Tim, Timothy, Marie, Janice Granderson, Muriel Herbert, Augsutina Encarnacion, Garciela Soto, Janet Gerard, Anna Hall, Debra Thomas, Jose and Nora Rivera, the Charles Harwood Complex Family, and other friends too numerous to mention; great nieces and great nephews and other family too numerous to mention.

Immediate family members are asked to please wear purple, apple green, lilac or fuchsia; other attendees might wear festive colors.

A viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Monday, April 25, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

A second viewing will be held at noon followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, at Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
