V.I. Children’s Museum Is Free for Active Military and Their Families This Summer

The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum is part of Blue Star Museums, a program offering free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families this summer from Armed Forces Day, May 21, through Labor Day, Sept. 5.

Children’s museums, art museums, history and science museums, zoos, nature centers and more are participating in the Blue Star Museums program in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families and the Department of Defense.

A map of participating museums across America will be updated throughout the summer to reflect new museums joining the program. For a list of participating museums, visit https://www.arts.gov/blue-star-museum-map

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S.  Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps and up to five family members.
