DLCA Seeks Local Vendors for Emancipation Garden Vendors Plaza

The V.I. Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) is seeking local food, drink, arts and crafts vendors to sell their goods at the Emancipation Garden Vendor’s Plaza on St. Thomas.

As per the rules and regulations that govern the vendors plaza, there shall be a minimum of 10% of all placement permits per district reserved for vendors selling goods, articles or commodities manufactured in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The plaza currently houses 64 vendors with six spots reserved for local goods. DLCA will be conducting placement certification verifications of all existing and new spots before the reopening of the new kiosks.

Interested persons who make local food, drink, art and crafts should contact the Office of the Commissioner of the V.I. Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs by Friday, Dec. 16, via email to both kwanda.daniels@dlca.vi.gov or myrna.george@dlca.vi.gov, or by telephone at 725-5129  to be considered for a spot.
