Elections System to Hold Run-off Election Early Voting Nov. 17, 18

Early Voting for the 2018 Run-Off Election is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17, and Sunday, Nov. 18. Polls will be open on St. Croix and St. Thomas from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On St. John, the polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Unofficial Results Show Runoff Between Mapp and Bryan

After hours of waiting and speculation, the unofficial general election results point toward a gubernatorial runoff between incumbent Kenneth Mapp and Democratic challenger Albert Bryan, which has been scheduled for Nov. 20.

V.I. Voters Swarming to the Polls

Voters headed out to the polls in droves early Tuesday, packing turnout numbers in an election that appears on track to easily crush the last gubernatorial election turnout. Polling places remain open until 7 p.m.
