District Court Judge Curtis V. Gomez sentenced Bert Donadelle Jr., 26, of Georgia to three months in prison and three years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Nathaniel Thomas Jr., 27 of Frederiksted, turned himself in to the V.I. Police Department at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday. On Sunday, the VIPD issued a wanted poster for Thomas.

Bitter Charged with Threatening Law Officers, Judges

Thomas Troy Bitter, 36, made his initial appearance Monday in District Court before Magistrate Judge Ruth Miller after his arrest on St. Thomas on a charge that he used his e-mail account to send threatening communications.

‘Operation Gun Dog’ Nets 18 Firearms

Naeem Akil Smith, 24, of St. Thomas was arrested April 27 and charged May 5 with the unlawful possession of 18 firearms, including two assault rifles, at the Cyril E. King Airport.

VIPD: Click It or Ticket for Drivers Who Ignore Seatbelt Law

The VIPD will activate the national safety initiative “Click It or Ticket” for two weeks beginning on Monday to encourage Virgin Islands motorists to wear seatbelts or pay the price.
