EBT/SNAP Info Meeting

U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture/Food Nutrition Service (USDA/FNS) and the V.I. Department of Human Services will host meetings on the Electronic Benefits Transfer card/ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (EBT/SNAP). They will present information on the EBT/SNAP program, which is designed to aid low-income families for purchase of food critical for good health. This is a win/win event for direct marketing farmers and farmers’ markets to increase customer base, increase economic benefits, and provide healthy and nutritious, locally-grown food options for SNAP recipients.
