Forum Presents Live Screening of ‘King Lear’

The Forum presents Ian McKellen in William Shakespeare’s “King Lear” in a live HD screening. “King Lear” is a five-star production, praised by critics across the board. Ian McKellen, who gives an acclaimed performance as Shakespeare’s great king, stars. While he is more widely known for his roles in blockbuster films, Ian’s acting career began on the stage, and he has given iconic Shakespeare performances throughout his career. This is a chance to see one of the finest actors of the 20th and 21st centuries performing live.

The Court Yard will open at 6 p.m. with small meals and desserts by Amalia Café. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for teachers and students, and free for children under 10 years old.
