Historic Step-Street Walkabout

The second annual Charlotte Amalie Historic Step-Street Walkabout, beginning and ending at Emancipation Garden. Participants take a tour of several stairways that serve as pedestrian streets in Charlotte Amalie. They include the 99 Steps as the course follows history from Post Office Square to Blackbeard’s Hill, Bunker Hill, Garden Street, Long Path, High Road, Low Road, Catherineberg, Fireburn Hill, Vester Gade and Krystal Gade.  Registration will begin at 4 p.m. Fees are $8 for adults and $5 for youth under 18, with all proceeds going to the St. Thomas Historical Trust. There will be water stops.
