Senate: Committee of the Whole

Agenda:

The 34th Legislature will convene in Committee of the Whole to receive testimony on the following zoning map amendment and CZM permit applications:

Block I 

10 a.m.

ZAT-22-4 — The Soraya Diase Coffelt Living Trust requesting that 19F-1 Rem and 19N Rem Smith       Bay, Nos. 1, 2, and 3 East End Quarter, St. Thomas, be rezoned from A-1 (Agricultural) to R-3 (Residential-Medium Density) and C (Commercial). The purpose of the request is to provide affordable housing and small- to medium-sized commercial business opportunities.

ZAJ-22-2 — The Diocese of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands Inc. requesting that Parcel 6R-2C. Estate Carolina, No.1 Coral Bay Quarter, St. John be rezoned from C (Commercial) to B- 2 (Business Secondary). The purpose of the request is to build a church, community center and residences.

ZAT-22-5 — Nyere A. Francis Sr. and Leonard Bernard Francis Jr., Esq. requesting that Parcel No.56A Estate Smith Bay, Nos. 1, 2, 3 East End Quarter, St. Thomas, be rezoned from R-2 (Residential-Low Density-One and Two Family) to B-2 (Business- Secondary/Neighborhood). The purpose of the request is to allow a commercial development comprising of retail and service businesses.

ZAC-22-4 — Yolanda Andrews and LaToya Williams requesting that Remainder Plot No.10-A-1Estate Montpellier, Queen Quarter, St. Croix be rezoned from R-1 (Residential Low Density) to R-2 (Residential Low Density-One and Two Family). The purpose of the request is for subdivision into four (4) lots (1/4 acre each).

CZT-4-17 (L&W) — Permit Application Tropical Marine Inc.; Project and activities are located seaward of Parcel Nos. 27, 28, 29 and 35 Consolidated Estate Nadir, St. Thomas and on Parcel No. 27 Estate Nadir, St. Thomas
