The Board of Directors of the Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) has amended its Marine Tariff and VIPA’s Marine Rules and Regulations regarding commercial vessel requirements by adding: Section III Part F – Docking Fees: Commercial vessels moored at VIPA’s facilities must have a current, valid Certificate of Inspection or Certificate of Documentation, along with $1 million in liability insurance.
The public is invited to a hearing to discuss the change to the tariff and the rules and regulations.
Locations: Crown Bay Center Conference Room at the Austin “Babe” Monsanto Marine Terminal, 161-A Sub Base, St. Thomas, and via teleconference in VIPA’s Conference Room on the second floor of the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal, St. Croix.
