Jeff Miller has done what no one has done before. The 55-year-old fisheries biologist with the Virgin Islands National Park has swum non-stop around St. John, a distance of almost 23 miles in 12.5 hours.

The Virgin Island’s Cross-Country Season on St. Croix will start on Wednesday, Oct. 27. VI Paving and the Department of Agriculture assisted the VITFF with the creation of a new cross-country course in Negro Bay where the races will be held.
