Mental Health Disparities Still a Concern in Territory

To bolster awareness and address the stigma surrounding mental health, a Senate panel voted Thursday to forward a bill declaring the month of May as Virgin Islands Mental Health Awareness Month.

Ground May Break on New Public Schools in 2020

Major demolition and construction of the territory's new public schools will begin in the summer of 2020 should FEMA funds arrive as expected in March of that year, said Department of Education Architect Assistant Director Chaneel Callwood during the New Schools Construction Advisory Board meeting Thursday evening.
