It is with extremely saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved John Edward Floyd Jr., who died on September 6, 2024, in St. Croix at age 73.
He is survived by his wife, Angela P. Tyson-Floyd of 36 years; sons, Ian Edward Floyd, John Edward Floyd, III, a.k.a. “Trey” and Sean Alexander Floyd; grandchildren, Azalea Soleil Floyd and Alanni Myanna Floyd; sister, Barbara Eckhout; brother, Steve Floyd; nieces, Alyssa Moradel, Nykole Tyson, Genesis Tyson, Terin Tyson, Tayler Tyson, Nyle Tyson, and Alexis Tyson; nephews, Ethan Eckhout, Scotty Floyd, Revaughn Tyson, and Cedric A. Tyson; brothers-in-law, Joe Eckhout, Nigel Tyson, Elston Tyson, Terrence Tyson, Cedric S. Tyson; sisters-in-law, Miki Floyd, Lorie Tyson, Janice Tyson, Darline Terrell-Tyson, Valerie Cleveland Tyson, Gabrielle Tyson; mother-in-law, Agnes Tyson. Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Frederiksted Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 23 C. Estate North Carlton Rd., Frederiksted, St. Croix, VI.
