Division of Corporations and Trademarks Upgrades

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach informs the public that an upgrade to the Division of Corporations and Trademarks online Catalyst system, scheduled to commence on Monday, Dec. 9 for a short system outage at 3:00 p.m., will result in a system outage.

This upgrade is necessary to bring the Division’s system to the latest version. The look and feel of the Catalyst system will also be enhanced for better navigation. Filers who visit the Catalyst system at www.corporationsandtrademarks.vi.gov will receive an outage message during the upgrade period which may conclude by 7 p.m.

Filers are also reminded of the following:

1.  To register their trade names with the Division of Corporations and Trademarks before seeking licensure with the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs and submit renewal applications through the Division’s Catalyst system to maintain the registration.

2.   To register their entity names with the Division and submit annual reports to remain in good standing.

3.   To submit their Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) instruments through the Catalyst system.

4.   To submit their United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered trademarks and maintenance instruments through our system.

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor apologies for any inconvenience this outage may cause. For additional information, please contact the Division of Corporations and Trademarks on St. Thomas at 340-774-2991 and on St. Croix at 340-773-6449 or visit www.ltg.gov.vi.
