McDonald’s Raises over $16,000 For My Brother’s Workshop with McDonald’s GREAT DAY Fundraiser

McDonald’s proudly presented a check for $16,200 to My Brother’s Workshop, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing commitment to the communities they support. This generous donation was made possible by the overwhelming success of their annual Great Day fundraiser, held on October 4th, 2024.

During this special event, all five McDonald’s restaurants across St. Thomas and St. Croix welcomed thousands of customers who came to enjoy the iconic Big Mac, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to My Brother’s Workshop. This initiative is part of McDonald’s Latin America and Caribbean annual event, reinforcing the company’s dedication to social responsibility and its role in enriching the local communities they serve.

“We are thrilled to see the impact of our Great Day fundraiser each year,” said Vincent Lamazou, Managing Director for Arcos Dorados Puerto Rico and USVI. “Our partnership with My Brother’s Workshop is a testament to our commitment of giving back to the communities around us. This donation will support My Brother’s Workshop in continuing its vital work, providing essential programs and services to at-risk young adults in the community. McDonald’s thanks every person who purchased a Big Mac on Great Day for helping us continue this tradition of community support.”

“We are deeply grateful for the continued partnership and generosity of McDonald’s and the community. This support allows us to further our mission and provide essential training programs and services to young people in the USVI. We sincerely appreciate the ongoing commitment to My Brother’s Workshop.” Chrystie Payne, MBW Program Director My Brother’s Workshop is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope, faith, education and opportunities to at-risk young people in the US Virgin Islands.
