The Northside Sportfishing Club, organizers of the Bastille Day Kingfish Tournament, announce that the Tournament will not take place in 2025. After careful consideration, and due to several reasons, the decision was made to pause the event.
However, staying true to the Club’s commitment to serving the community, a scholarship will still be awarded this year. Application availability and the submission deadline will be posted shortly on the Northside Sportfishing Club’s Facebook page.
The Club looks forward to marking French Heritage Week 2025 in July by joining in the celebrations of other local Bastille Day events. The Club will share information about these events as details become available, as we continue to foster a strong sense of community.
