Jehovah’s Witnesses: A Global Educational Campaign

More than 8,000,000 volunteers are participating in a global campaign in September to offer a free interactive Bible educational course.

Jehovah’s Witnesses, well-known for their hallmark door-to-door ministry, also organize yearly special campaigns to raise awareness of Scriptural solutions that address the public’s concerns. Last year, the nonprofit organization reported averaging more than 7,000,000 Bible studies each month.

“While studying the Bible through this course, many have been pleasantly surprised to discover that life’s most intriguing questions are not a mystery, but are answered in this ancient book. It reveals the purpose of life, the secrets to happy families, promises of a better future and why we can trust them, in addition to many more important life-enhancing lessons,” said Ulises Rivera, a local spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The three-lesson brochure titled “Enjoy Life Forever!” is included in the campaign offer and covers these topics:

  • How Can the Bible Help You?
  • The Bible Gives Hope.
  • Can You Trust the Bible?

The course incorporates question-and-answer sessions and videos and explains how the Scriptures help improve a person’s life, such as by strengthening relationships within the family, at work and at school. Weekly lessons can be as brief as five minutes and can be conducted at an individual’s preferred location in person or via videoconference or phone call.

“This month, we will do our very best to personally offer this Bible course to as many Virgin Islanders as possible,” said Rivera. “It’s free of charge, and no one is pressured to start or obligated to continue the course. All we ask is that people take a moment to see for themselves the benefits the Bible can bring to their lives, now and in the future.”
