Kenneth Belony Dies at 59

Kenneth Belony leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Rose Belony Daniel; his stepfather, Francis Daniel; and his father, Emmanuel Prospere.

He is also survived by his brothers, Hamadi Daniel and Anthony Prospere; and his sisters, Lucia Sunshine K. Burke-Andrade, Kameela Daniel Piper, Hanan Daniel, Halima Daniel, and Julitta Thomas.

Kenneth will be fondly remembered by his aunts, Agatha Campbell, Hella Verdant, Lea Belony, Luvena Hippolyte, Veronique Belony, Anastasia Vidal, Dahlia Edwin, Magdalena Edward, Rosabella Ste. Marthe, and Eunice Prospere; and his uncles, Isaac Belony, Francis Belony, Peter Auguste, Rufus Prospere, Bede Prospere, Harold Prospere, and Antoine Flavien.

He also leaves behind his beloved nieces, Jasmine Davis, Jenay Bell, Jamela Bell, Jewel Bell, Amarrah Stevens, Ayanah Stevens, and Keona Piper; his nephews, Jamel Bell Jr., Nadir Daniel, and King Piper; his brothers-in-law, Randy Piper, Daren Stevens, and Michael L. Burke-Andrade; and his sister-in-law, Kimberly Benjamin Daniel.

Kenneth’s memory will also be cherished by his cousins, including Yolanda Edwin, Della Collymore, Melissa Aurelien, and Danette Ste. Marthe, along with many other relatives, dear friends, and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Kenneth touched the lives of many current and former Tipsy coworkers who had the privilege of knowing him, working alongside him, and loving him; they are, Richard Wright, Nancy Wright, Ricardo Nieves, Jessica Maldonado, Andrea Mieses, Bryana Ferguson, Radisel Polanco, Jeanny Polanco, Jazzmine Ferdinand, Malcolm Davis, Albert Krigger, Julianna Charles, and Heather Ferguson.

He also leaves to mourn the Belony, Matty, Leo, Regis, Martin, Hippolyte, Dennis, Carr (Estate Bethlehem) and the Prospere families, as well as a host of extended family members and friends whose lives he touched.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Kenneth Belony will be held July 27 at Divine Funeral Services, #129 Peter’s Rest, Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands 00820. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. The viewing will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
