To Do List For Crucian Christmas Festival Vendors

The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable Festival season for everyone.

We remind all vendors participating in this year’s Crucian Christmas Festival Village in
Frederiksted town to complete the mandated fire safety requirements before beginning
operations. This step is essential to ensure your booths are safe and compliant with regulations.

Here’s What You Need to Do:
1. Pick Up and Complete the Fire Safety Inspection Application (Carnival Booth):
• Pick up the Carnival Booth Application form.
• Fill it out with your assigned booth number.
• Submit the form and pay the $50.00 application fee.

2. Prepare for and Complete Your Booth Inspection:
• Once your application is processed, the VIFEMS Prevention Team will visit your
booth to conduct a safety assessment.
• To ensure your booth passes the inspection:
• Vendors cooking on-site must have a tagged fire extinguisher.
• Vendors using deep fryers are required to have a Class K fire extinguisher.
• All gas tanks will be inspected for proper tags.

Be proactive and ensure your booth is fully prepared and safe for the upcoming Festival season.

Let’s work together to make this year’s Festival a fun and safe experience for everyone!
