RED CROSS OFFERS CLASSES ON ST. THOMAS & ST. CROIX

March 29, 2003 – The American Red Cross is offering First Aid and CPR courses during the month of April on St. Thomas and St. Croix. Community CPR and First Aid will be taught from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday,April 8. CPR training only will be offered on Tuesday, April 15, and First Aid Basics will be offered on Thursday, April 17, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. each day. The classes will be held at Nisky Center on St. Thomas and at the Red Cross facility at 65 Castle Coakley in Christiansted.
Registration is required and is on the first come-first-serve basis. The cost for the combined CPR and First Aid course is $60 for individuals and $55 for non-profit and government employees. The separate CPR and First Aid classes are $50 for individuals and $45 for government and non-profit organization employees. Interested persons should register early as classes are filled quickly.
