Sept. 25, 2002 – The Friends of the St. Thomas Public Libraries will have a table at the Tutu Park Mall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.
Friends will distribute information about the library programs and about the Friends programs, hand out free books for adults from the collection boxes, and sign people up for library cards and as volunteers. The group will also sign people up to read to children who are in the mall, so you can start right in volunteering to spread the joy of reading.
The Friends welcome all members of the community to come out and read with them.
