Aug. 29, 2002 – The Water and Power Authority will install a gate valve on a Frederiksted water main between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of Route 70 (Queen Mary Highway) and the Good Hope School bus shanty.
Several areas will be without water while construction is under way. Customers affected by the water interruption include, but are not limited to, those in Hogensburg, Carlton, Two Williams, Whim, Campo Rico, Hannah's Rest, Stoney Ground, Smithfield, Two Brothers, White Boy, Concordia, White Lady, Mars Hill, La Grange, Wheel of Fortune and Frederiksted Town.
