Jan. 23, 2002 – St. John Weed and Seed program planning continues with a meeting in the Safety Zone office at noon Tuesday, Jan. 29.
Persons or organizations interested in becoming involved are encouraged to call either the St. John Community Foundation at 693-9410 or the Safety Zone at 693-7233 to confirm attendance.
Plans are in process for obtaining a federal grant for this program which depends on community involvement. Funds are available for up to four years and up to amounts of $125,000.
